What is it?!
It's a baby Video and Audio monitor, made by Motorola and sold by Aldi.
What does it do?
So, I could do this review by babbling on about all of it's features and what it can do, however that would only be reeling off details from the picture on the left. Have a little read at the spec and this tells you what is does..

The mobile unit (also has a handy belt clip!) is wireless which you need to charge . The cameras' are 'connected' wirelessly but need to be powered by an adapter; it would have been nice if these were chargeable, however I can understand why they're not, it WOULD be a little awful if they ran out of power and you were unable to see your child.
Initially you have to register both cameras with the mobile unit BUT you can then change this to concentrate on just the one camera.
The picture itself; is in the daytime a little grainy on the 2 inch screen, BUT is massively improved in the dark; which is ultimately what you will use these for. See the pictures? Being completely honest, the photos are a little grainy too as they've been taken with a low resolution camera phone, but you can see what I mean!
The mic pick up on the mobile unit is pretty good - my Wife helped test this feature and the cameras even picked up sound when she was on the other side of the room.
The output sound on the camera units are brilliantly clear, so if your little Mr or Mrs is crying you can soothe them back to sleep with mummy's calming voice (or Daddy's of course!!).
Range is also very good, cameras were upstairs and had no problem with me being downstairs and in our conservatory.
Another nice feature is being able to choose from 3 lullabies - which can be started (and stopped) from the camera units, you can also set the volume by the camera unit too - These are soft and calming, unfortunately you can't start these with the mobile unit.

The Verdict?
A
basic (features wise) but VERY good quality camera with sound, its does exactly what it says on
the box, if you only want a simple Video and Audio monitor for your little one(s) then this would be great. It doesn't have the bells and whistles that some other versions have but I see that to be a good thing, making this extremely user friendly!
Value for money is immediately apparent due to the good sound quality. Improvements could be made where the video is concerned but it does the job quite nicely.
