What is it?

A greatly detailed, coffee table book which will keep you flipping pages and reminiscing the card art for hours! Even just the cover art is amazing, it has the backing of one of the card packs and if you look beyond the dust jacket, there's even the gum!!

After you've read the history, viewed all the cards, then read the afterwords from Drew Struzan himself, you can get stuck in to the cards included EXCLUSIVE to this book!!

What I thought

A beautifully detailed look into the first three series of Star Wars Galaxy. Firstly the brief history explains the troubles and heart which went into making these card sets possible as well as then the gorgeous 200 odd pages which follow with the arts from some of the best comics artists around!

It's great that there's also a glossary of all the artists so you can refer back to the art of your favourites!

I remember these sets as a kid and remember looking at these time and time again seeing/reading a new different this every-time.

So many amazing artists contributed to these cards back in the day, including Drew Struzan who created the iconic posters for the entire trilogy including the box office record breaking THE FORCE AWAKENS!! (Coming soon to DVD!!)

The Verdict

A great reference to the cards of my childhood, its been great flipping through and reading about how it all began!

This book is an awesome reference for ANY fan of Topps Trading cards!
