The Film!!
So, the sequel starts right where the first "Cloudy" left off, with the amazing inventor Flint starting the clean up of all the left over food. This is very short lived though as Flints Idol; an old Inventor named Chester, shows up to offer Flint a job! After mild hesitation Flint agrees and fly off in the old guys helicopter. Little does he know there is more here than meets the eye!!
The machine which created all the food in the first film has made further problems, so Chester wants Flint and the old gang travel to the food Island to turn off the FLDSMDFR. The story unfolds from there and Flint must go against the man who he looked upto since he was a child.
The story line is very simple but has a few layers too, it also has a great moral of "trust in your friends".
Among the host of celebs who make up the main group; Mr T, Scary Movies' Anna Faris and How I Met Your Mothers' Neil Patrick Harris (who plays the wacky Monkey Steve!!) to name just a few! The hilarious personalities of the various "Foodimals" on the Island ensure your little one and indeed you are entertained. This film is extremely good fun and will keep you laughing throughout, some of the names of the Foodimals are brilliant!
My Fave moment, has to be with the mega cute Barry the Berry translates for Flint or possibly when the "Foodimals" get their own back! I wouldn't want to spoil the ending for you so you'll just have to watch it!!The Extras!!

What The Boy Thought?!
My Son LOVED this film, almost as much as the first film. I think this film was a little more driven towards the message of "trust inyour friends" so it was a little wordy in places. As you may have read in a few of my previous posts, my Son has ants in his pants on a regular basis so unfortunately lost interest a few times. That being said, he absolutely loved Barry the (straw)berry.
The Verdict!
Personally I loved this film, however like my Son, although I didn't get Ants in my pants, I did loose my concentration a few times. A really fun film though! the "Foodimals" are definitely the funniest part of this movie. If you loved the first film, you'll also like the sequel. BRING ON THE 3RD!!!
