I had a fun time reviewing the last issue of the STAR WARS REBELS MAGAZINE I thought I'd do a review of Issue 4!.
So here you are! Issue 4 of the Star Wars Rebels Magazine!!!
As always ONLY £2.99!!! On this months edition there is a lightsaber shooter, to be honest I've seen a few different versions of this on other magazines and I wasn't massively impressed.
As a parent, safety is always a big thing and I don't really like the idea of tiny discs flying around the house, the targets is a nice idea but I think there are better 'pocket money' toys out there, maybe stickers, a sheet of them or even for the Official Sticker book?

Page 1 : The front page is considered as page 1, that's above :)
Page 2 : There's an Imperial propaganda Poster, same image as last issue but untouched by Rebels!
Page 3 : A Lowdown of all the rebels, just a short sentence about each, slightly different to last issue.
Page 4 : Star Wars News! A little about new toys and also the release date of THE FORCE AWAKENS!
Page 5 - 10 : Part 1 of an Awesome Comic! - Theres a traitor in the midst for the Empire, a close friend of Agent Kallus, I enjoyed this issues comic as it showed there are traitors in the Empire, but NOT because they are turning into a Rebel, but because they think they are better than the Empire and wanting to win big for personal gain..
Page 11 : A Competition to win Ezra's Lightsaber! Who wouldn't want that! Light and sound and ALSO shoots missiles!
Page 12 - 13 : A Fact File on the ships cowboy Jedi, Kanan Jarrus! There's a little background info which refers to A NEW DAWN Novel! Also a breakdown of his gear.
Page 14 - 15 : More Puzzles! A wordsearch and Friend or Foe Sillouettes.
Page 16 : A maze puzzle.
Pages 17 - 20 : Double sided poster! On one side it's The Inquisitor and Kanan in the heat of battle, I think it's the scene from Ezra's dream from 'Path of a Jedi'. On the other side it's a group picture of the entire crew and also the inquisitor and 'Stormies' in the background.
Page 21 : Spot the difference!
Page 22 - 27 : Part 2 of the Awesome Comic!
Page 28 : How to be a Rebel. 4 main pointers on how to be a good Rebel.
Page 29 : Find your Rebel name! I love these things, mine's Groex Kessler! My Son is Silas Starfallen!
Pages 30 - 31 : A Fact File on The Phantom (The Ghosts' shuttlecraft)! Some nice images and facts on this, and it's canon too!!!
Page 32 - 33 : More Puzzles -
Runaway Rascal - A follow the trail type puzzle.
Stormtrooper Spotting - Find two groups of 'Stormies' which are exactly the same!
Page 34 : How to draw - Ezra, use the grid to draw our young hero!
Page 35 : A preview of next weeks issue - the free gift is a Droid Grabber arm! See? Thats a good one! , more comic strips, a SABINE one possibly? That would be cool.. Not much is known about her so far.. Darth Vader Attaks the Rebels? Very cool.. There's also the answers to all of the puzzles in the mag, DON'T LOOK UNTIL YOUR DONE THOUGH YA LITTLE CHEATER!!
Finally, the back page has an A4 poster of Kanan and Ezra, lightsabers Drawn!
The Verdict:
Some great puzzles and I liked reading about the Phantom too, always good to learn some more canon regarding the ships of Star Wars! The comic was good, showing that the Empire has enough trouble WITHOUT the Rebels playing havok with them! (please note again that these comics ARE considered as CANON!!! WHOOP!!)
