Most mysterious and under appreciated Star Wars character? IMO! :)

OK, let me first state that this article is by no means for anyone in particular and is my OWN opinion and I have done little to no homework on this, so it's literally from what I know. 

So.. think of all the characters and the MOST mysterious!? Boba Fett I hear you cry!

NO! 

We KNOW about him! Thanks to the Clone Wars TV series and the prequels AND a whole host of comics and books, we know the background of the bounty hunter.

The End of Boba? Probs not..

Alot of people have said the Boba story was a little ruined and they liked his 'mysteriousness'. IMO though there isn't masses of mystery to him. He's a Mando bounty hunter who was a clone of his Dad, who had a good bounty hunting career until it came to an end(?!) while looking after a blind man and his "dog" (#badanalegyforchewielovers).

NO! Boba Fett is not the mystery man we're looking for.


It's YODA!

Yes, you may think you know a whole lot about this little green...little green.. er.. what IS he?? This is all part of it.. it's NEVER been confirmed WHERE Yoda is actually from.. OR his background..or even something as simple as his childhood!

From a marketing point of view, in alot of cases Yoda has been a prominent face of Star Wars for the last 30 odd years, especially in the last 15 regarding the prequels. Apologies for the crude collage, I just wanted to emphasise there's a ton of stuff for the little green guy..

Where's the Yoda love? 

Thanks to results of their regular questions Coffee With Kenobi have very kindly provided the following report which shows that Yoda doesn't really rank that high. It's all just a little strange.

Yoda has provided us with some of the greatest dialogue to come out of cinema including "Try not, Do or do not, there is no try.." Now I currently use that in everyday life with my son! He's also had some of the most epic scenes in the Star Wars saga, to name just a few:

• Lifting Luke's X-wing from the swamp on Dagobah
• His famous quotes! 
• Yoda's touching death scene
• The AWESOME fight with Count Dooku
• His fight with Emperor Palpatine

I'm sure you can all think of more too.

Lets look at some evidence (by way of polls):

Escapist Magazine 2011 - Ran a poll and Yoda only got 26%! To add to insult he was listed as "Other Jedi(Obi, Quigon, Yoda etc)" YODA ETC???!!! REALLY!? A Jedi MASTER..ETC!

Star Wars.com 21st July 2015 - The most recent evidence. Amy Ratcliffe (she's AWESOME!) Had run an article here: but.. NO YODA???!! why Amy??! WHY???!

It's quite sad how our little green fellow seems to have been forgotten. 800 years of training Jedi definitely makes him my favourite character of all time. This post in no way means that everyone else's favourites are 'wrong' I'm merely voicing that in my eyes Yoda should be up there with the Darth Vader's and Han Solo's who always manage to take the top spots.

Anyways, Show the Yoda love all! and let's all pray for a Yoda Ghost at some point in the new Trilogy!
