Drumond Park - Dino Bite! Boardgame Review!

What is it?

It's an action game, kind of buckaroo style. So you have to roll the dice to determine the colour, then using tweezers you need to grab an egg baby from the nest and save them from the ferocious T-Rex! Each person takes it in turns to do this and all before the T-Rex takes a bite! The person with the most babies wins.

Really easy to set up, there's only 2 pieces to the actual game (they easily click together), then you have the baby dino eggs and the dice. The detail on the dinosaur could be better but it does the job. There are some fantastic sound effects which come out of the T-Rex, jungle noises and roaring in the distance and then a really loud roar when he bites!

It's actually pretty nerve-racking trying to get your dino babies out of the nest! Brilliant fun though, even for a 30 something adult!

What the boy thought?

My son really enjoyed playing this game, he only has little hands and initially had some trouble using the tweezers. However, once shown properly he was well away! He got a little stressed to start with but soon for the hang of it and baby dino's were flying everywhere!

The Verdict!

A really fun game which is initially a little daunting due to fiddly tweezers, but easy to get along with after some practice. Fantastic sound effects coupled with a gnashing T-Rex makes for an exciting and quite jumpy game!

For 2-4 Players from age 4+, RRP: £19.99.
