What is it?
It's an Elf that you put on your shelf! The reasoning behind this is that your little one is being spied on by one of Santa's minions!! A fantastic idea, and with a little imagination, you can really bring this elf to life!

As far as I can see, (as I was unable to source one of these) you get a book with the story of the elf on the shelf, and the little man himself!
An Internet Phenomenon!!!
Now, doing a little research on the net so I could review this was a lot of fun! Because this little elf requires imagination, there's ALOT of people out there ready to go the extra mile with their little ones (and in some cases just for themselves!). It's almost like there's an unspoken competition between sites and blogs! Check out the below! (apologies, I probably should have censored this..!)
Naughty and a little bit wild, I'm sure you'll agree! In any case your little ones will be bewildered with what the elf gets up to during the night: I've seen pictures of him playing with other toys, getting ready for bed, even partying! Idea's are endless! Thoroughly enjoyable! There's so many more pictures on the web! check them out for a laugh!
How much?
Not entirely sure how much these are supposed to retail at, however my usual source; Amazon.co.uk currently have a few up at about £28. Which I admit may seem a little pricey, however you do get a book and the little guy is pretty big. And of course you get the pleasure of seeing your little one excited every time you move the elf. AND of course, due to this little 'Santa Spy' your little one's behaviour should increase too!
The Verdict
I WANT ONE! MY SON WANTS ONE! MY SON NEEDS ONE!! I think I might get one...
